James K. Kramer, DMD, MAGD

Dr. James K. Kramer’s interest in dental care started early. Born and raised in Delaware, he attended a dental technology program at Hodgson Vocational Technical High School, then spent a year taking dental technology classes at the National School of Health Technology in Philadelphia, where he received a certificate of merit and honor. The technical skills that he acquired during these years have been of real benefit to his patients.

Deciding to pursue a career in dentistry, Dr. James K. Kramer, DMD, MAGD attended the University of Delaware for his undergraduate work. He graduated with honors from the Temple School of Dentistry, where he was a member of the periodontal, endodontics, oral surgery and prosthodontic honor societies.

Before coming to Selbyville, Dr. James K. Kramer, DMD, MAGD completed a one-year general dentistry residency at Wilmington Medical Center. During that time he also worked with a well-established dentist in Wilmington, who introduced him to many of the techniques and skills used in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. James K. Kramer, DMD, MAGD opened his practice in Selbyville in 1988. He has established himself not only as an excellent general practitioner but also excelled in restorative and cosmetic work.

James K. Kramer, DMD, MAGD has been listed in Delaware Today magazine as one of Delaware’s top dentists. He earned a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor achieved by fewer than 5% of all dentists in the country. The mastership award is the highest honor given in the AGD, and one of the most respected designations in dentistry. He has taken an active role in various state and local dental societies, and is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. James K. Kramer, DMD, MAGD has staffed his office with an outstanding team. Dr. James K. Kramer, DMD, MAGD is very proud of their incredible dedication and loyalty to the practice and especially to our patients, which is evidenced by the fact that four members of this talented team of professionals have been with Dr. James K. Kramer, DMD, MAGD since he began the practice in 1988. Millie is the office manager and the smiling face that greets you when you visit the practice. Fay and Barb are known to so many for their gentle, skillful care as hygienists. For the past 14 years Susan, with 35 years of dental experience, has been a valued member of the clinical staff. Sharon, with 29 years of dental experience, completes the clinical assisting team and been with the practice for 7 years. Gabby is a dental assistant/ lab assistant with four years of experience. New addition to our staff, April, has over seven years experience and is our office administrator.
